School Site Council (SSC)

  • By California Education Code, the School Site Council is required to:
    • Measure the effectiveness of improvement strategies at the school.
    • Seek input from school advisory committees.
    • Reaffirm or revise school goals.
    • Revise improvement strategies and expenditures.
    • Recommend the approved single plan for student achievement (SPSA) to the governing board.
    • Monitor implementation of the SPSA.
  • Our School Site Council is comprised of 10 members:
    • 5 parents/guardians/caregivers and 5 school staff - including the principal, 1 non-teaching member, and 3 teachers. 
  • All members, except the principal (or their designee who fills the principal's spot in their absence), are elected to serve on SSC for a 2-year term.        
 
If you would like to join our SSC meetings, they are held on specific days at 5 pm in a hybrid format. You are welcome to join via Zoom or in person. You can join Zoom by scanning the QR code located on the right or clicking the zoom link on the agenda. or in person. In-person attendees are welcomed to check-in at the school office and join the meeting in the Principal's Office.
