Thank you to each and every student for all your hard work so far. We are about halfway through the school year and your effort has allowed you to grow in all facets of your academic life. I encourage all students to continue to do their part in demonstrating the “Repetto Roadrunner Way.” In addition, I thank every parent, community partner and staff for all your hard work and support you provide our kiddos each and every day.
The testing window for California’s endof-the-year assessment is right around the corner. Soon after we return from spring break, students in grades 3-8 will take the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA). The testing window is April 2 through May 17. A detailed schedule will be posted on the school website closer to the testing window.
Students can prepare at home by taking online practice tests in English Language Arts and Mathematics. Click on the link to access the practice/training tests website: http://www.smarterbalanced.org/assessmen ts/samples/. This will allow students to familiarize themselves with sample questions and also utilize the various tools and support available on the site. Make sure to log on as “Guest”, then select the appropriate grade level and test. Students will have the opportunity to take the practice tests at school as well, but we highly encourage additional practice at home. The more exposure students receive, the better they will perform on the actual test. Thank you all parents and guardians for your continued support and commitment to your child’s education
